Banff [08.03.10]

Yesterday I went on a trip with my family to one of Canada’s national parks, Banff. It’s a normal tradition to go to Banff if you live in Alberta and it’s close to Calgary so my dad took the day off and we went. It’s about a three hour drive there and it’s separated into two parts; Banff National Park and Banff the Town. I found the park much more interesting than the town because there was more to see and more nature. The only part that I found annoying on my trip was that I couldn’t listen to my own music peacefully – my brother would keep bugging me to listen to it. It sucks when you can’t enjoy your own music on a three hour road trip somewhere.

CrossIron Mills Mall

Today I went out with my friend Lamese to a mall called, “CrossIron Mills” and it’s by the same designer of Vaughan Mills Mall. They’re still adding new stores and designs to it and just like Vaughan…it’s a bitch to walk in. The inside is really pretty and nice, but I don’t understand the point of long malls. It just takes forever to get from Point A to Point B, then back again to Point A. Given it’s nice exercise, but you get so tired of it that you don’t want to continue exploring. Your legs feel like jello lol. But nonetheless, I needed to get out of the house WITHOUT my family and actually go somewhere.
